This case involves a personal injury matter arising out of a house fire. The plaintiffs allege that they were injured, and their property was severely damaged, by a fire caused by a fuel cell-powered laptop computer manufactured by a particular company, that was also owned by the local public school. Plaintiffs further allege that the defendants failed to warn them within a reasonable time, of the known risk caused by the laptop computer.
