Information CollectionWe do not collect any personally identifiable information ("Personal Information") about you, unless you voluntarily provide us with such information. If you are a current or prospective Expert being considered by TEI, you will be required to provide us with your name, contact information, employment and biographical information, areas of expertise, statement of qualifications, fee schedule, references, and feedback related to consulting opportunities that we contact you about. If you are a current or prospective Client working with TEI this includes but is not limited to your name, contact information, and information explaining your requirement for an expert. We may also obtain information from third parties about you.
Information Usage and DisclosureWe utilize your Personal Information and Other Information to match you with consulting opportunities (if you are a current or prospective Expert) or to match an Expert with your consulting requirements (if you are a current or prospective Client). We will share your Personal Information and Other information with Experts or Clients, as the case may be, in an effort to make an engagement possible.
We may also share your Personal Information and Usage Information as described below:
- In an ongoing effort to better understand users of our Website, we might analyze the Usage Information in aggregate form in order to operate, maintain, manage, and improve the Website. This aggregate information does not identify you personally. We may share this aggregate data with our affiliates, agents, and business partners. We may also disclose aggregated user statistics in order to describe our products and services to current and prospective business partners and to other third parties for other lawful purposes.
- We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Information UpdatesYou are entitled to review the Personal Information The Expert Institute holds about you and may ask that we revise your personal information to ensure that it is current and correct. We may also revise your Personal Information using data obtained from third parties or public sources and make this updated Personal Information available to Clients in connection with matching you with consulting engagements.
Information SecurityWe use commercially reasonable physical and technological security measures to protect your information both online and offline from unauthorized access and against illegal manipulation and processing, accidental loss and damage. However, we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.
