About Dr. Steven Eric Carsons, MD
Dr. Steven E. Carsons has 43 years of experience in the field of Rheumatology. He earned his BA in Chemistry from New York University and his MD from New York Medical College. After completing both an internship and a residency in Internal Medicine at Maimonides Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Rheumatology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. Furthermore, he is the Vice Dean and the Senior Associate Dean of Translational Science Integration at the NYU Long Island School of Medicine, where he also serves as a Professor in the Departments of Medicine and Foundations of Medicine.
