About Dr. Richard Lee Rauck, FIPP, MD
Dr. Richard L. Rauck has 36 years of experience in the field of Pain Medicine. He earned his BS from Davidson College and his MD from Wake Forest University School of Medicine. After completing his internship in Family Medicine at Piedmont Columbus Regional Midtown, he went on to complete his residency in Anesthesiology and his fellowship in Pain Management at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Today, he is board certified in Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine by the American Board of Anesthesiology. Formerly, he held roles as an Associate Professor of Anesthesiology at the Wake Forest University School of Medicine and as a Physician at Piedmont Anesthesia & Pain, PA. Currently, he serves as the Founder and Medical Director at the Center For Clinical Research and as the President and Physician of Carolinas Pain Institute, PA. He also serves as a Clinical Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and as the Pain Fellowship Director at Wake Forest University School of Medicine.
