Dr. Richard G. Barbers has 40 years of experience in the fields of Pulmonary Disease, Allergy and Immunology. He earned his BS from Loyola University Maryland and his MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine. After completing his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at LAC+USC Medical Center and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center respectively, he went on to complete his fellowships in Clinical Immunology and Pulmonary Disease at Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Today, this expert is board certified in Allergy and Immunology by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, in Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert held roles such as an Associate Medical Director at Keck Hospital of USC and as Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program at Keck Hospital of USC and as the Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at California Keck School of Medicine.
