About Dr. Peter Mark Lillo, CFEI, CVFI, PE, PhD
Dr. Peter M. Lillo has over 20 years of experience in the field of Mechanical Engineering. He earned his AS in Automotive Chassis Systems, Automotive Engine Performance, and Automotive Engine Machining and service from De Anza College, his BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and his MS and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan. Today, this expert is certified as a Fire and Explosion Investigator and Vehicle Fire Investigator by the National Association of Fire Investigators. He is also licensed as a Professional Engineer in the state of California. Formerly, this expert held roles as a Combustion Research Intern at the Sandia National Laboratories and as a Graduate Student Researcher at the University of Michigan.
