About Dr. Ming C Xiao, PE, PhD
Dr. Ming Xiao has over 12 years of experience in the fields of Biomechanics and Accident Reconstruction. He earned his BS in Mechanical Engineering from Tsinghua University and his Ph.D. in Biomechanics from the University of Delaware. He also completed a Research Fellowship at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. Today this expert is a Certified Playground Safety Inspector by the board of National Recreation and Park Association and an Accredited Traffic Accident Reconstructionist (ACTAR). He is also licensed as a Professional Engineer in the states of Colorado and Florida. Formerly, this expert served as a Research Associate at the Yale School of Medicine, and as a Principal and then Senior Consultant at the Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc. Currently, he works as the Biomechanical Division Manager at the Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc where he focuses on Injury Consistency Biomechanics, Accident Reconstruction, and Playground Safety
