Dr. Michael P. La Quaglia has 36 years of experience in the field of Pediatric Surgery. He earned his BS in Biophysics from the New Jersey Institute of Technology and his MD from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School. He completed both an internship and a residency in Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital and a residency in Pediatric Surgery at Boston Children's Hospital, as well as fellowships in Transplant Surgery and Vascular Surgery at Massachusetts General Hospital. He also completed another fellowship in Surgery at Harvard Medical School and a research fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital. Today, this expert is board certified in Pediatric Surgery and Surgery. Formerly, this expert served as a Professor of Surgery at Weill Cornell Medical College and as an Associate Attending Surgeon at Hospital for Special Surgery. He also served as the Chief of the Pediatric Surgical Service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He currently serves as the Joseph H. Burchenal Chair in Pediatrics and as an Attending Surgeon at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, as well as an Attending Surgeon at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
