About Dr. Mark Robert Hutchinson, FAANA, FAAOS, FACSM, MD
Dr. Mark R. Hutchinson has 30 years of experience in the field of Orthopaedic Surgery with expertise in Sports Medicine. He earned his B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Illinois and his M.D. from the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Chicago. After completing his residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Michigan State University Kalamazoo Center for Medical Studies, he went on to complete his fellowship in Sports Medicine at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. Today, this expert is board certified in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery. Formerly, he held roles as an Associate Professor and as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Chicago. Currently, he serves as the Medical Director of the Sports Medicine and Human Performance Center, and as the Director of the Sports Medicine Services at the University of Illinois-Chicago. He also works as a Distinguished Professor in the Department of Orthopaedics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine-Chicago.
