About Dr. Mark Fellows Weems, MD
Dr. Mark F. Weems has over 9 years of experience in the fields of Pediatrics and Neonatology. He earned his BS from Northwestern University School of Communication and his MD from the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Medicine. After completing both an internship and residency in Pediatrics at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine, he went on to complete a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California. Today, this expert is board-certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine by the American Board of Pediatrics. Formerly, he served as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and as the Associate Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital. He currently serves as the Medical Director of the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Le Bonheur Children's Hospital, where he also serves as an Attending Neonatologist. He is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief of Neonatology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center.
