About Dr. Larry Norton, FAACR, FASCO, MD

Dr. Larry Norton has 46 years of experience in the field of Medical Oncology. He earned his BA in Psychology from the University of Rochester and his MD from the Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. After completing both an internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Jacobi Medical Center, he went on to complete a fellowship in Medical Oncology at the National Cancer Institute. Today, this expert is board certified in Medical Oncology and Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Formerly, this expert served as the Deputy Physician-in-Chief of Breast Cancer Programs and as Head of the Breast Disease Management Team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He was also the Head of the Solid Tumor Oncology Division and Chief of the Breast Oncology Service at Memorial Hospital for Cancer and Allied Diseases. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of the Office of the President, as Associate Director for Clinical and Translational Science, and as the Norna S. Sarofim Chair in Clinical Oncology at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. He is also a Member, an Attending Physician, and the Medical Director of the Evelyn H. Lauder Breast Imaging Center at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Moreover, he is an Adjunct Professor at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory, a Professor of Medicine at Weill Cornell Medical College, and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Medicine and Neoplastic Diseases at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
