About Dr. John Michael Galla, FACC, MD
Dr. John Michael Galla has over 11 years of experience in the field of Internal Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, and Cardiovascular Disease. He earned his BS in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and his MD from the University of Washington School of Medicine. After completing his residency in Internal Medicine at Duke University Hospital, he went on to complete his two fellowships, one in Cardiovascular Disease and the other in Interventional Cardiology, at the Cleveland Clinic. Today, this expert is board-certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology. He is active in his field as a member of several professional societies including the American College of Cardiology, the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions, and the American Heart Association. He also contributes to research in his field as the author of several peer-reviewed journal publications and book chapters. Formerly, this expert served as a Weapon Systems Officer for the United States Air Force. Currently, he serves as an Interventional Cardiologist at Cardiology Associates of Mobile and as the Director of the Adult Structural Heart Intervention Program at Springhill Medical Center.
