About Dr. Eric J Fombonne, MD
Dr. Eric J. Fombonne has over 39 years of experience in the field of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry and Pediatrics. He earned his MD from Paris Descartes University. He completed his residency in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Centre Hospitalier Universitaire Sainte-Justine. He was formerly Head of the Division in the Department of Psychiatry at McGill University and Montreal Children's Hospital where he was also the Co-Director of the Autism Spectrum Disorders Clinic. He was also the Canada Research Chair in the Division of Child Psychiatry and aProfessor of Psychiatry at McGill University. Currently, he is the Research Professor of Pediatrics at Oregon Health and Science University School of Medicine and the Director of Autism Research at their Institute on Development and Disability.
