Dr. David W. Sykora has 40 years of experience in Civil Engineering with expertise in Geotechnical and Earthquake Engineering. He earned his BS in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and his MS in Geotechnical Engineering and his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. Today, this expert is certified as a Geotechnical Engineer by the American Society of Civil Engineers and holds a Professional Engineer license in 23 states and a Geotechnical Engineer license in California. Formerly, this expert worked as a Senior Project Engineer at Woodward-Clyde Consultants and as the Principal Engineer at Bing Yen & Associates. He also served as a Graduate School Lecturer of Civil Engineering at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Currently, he serves as the Principal Engineer at Exponent, Inc.
