About Dr. Allen Ferrell, JD, PhD
Dr. Allen Ferrell has 27 years of experience in the fields of Economics and Law. He earned both his BA and MA from Brown University, his JD from Harvard Law School, and his Ph.D. in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Formerly, this expert served as a Law Clerk to Justice Anthony M. Kennedy and to Judge Laurence H. Silberman on the United States Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia. He was also an Olin Fellow and an Assistant Professor of Law at Harvard Law School. He currently serves as a Faculty Associate at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and as a Fellow in Columbia University’s Program on the Law and Economics of Capital Markets. He is also a Research Associate for the National Bureau of Economic Research and the European Corporate Governance Institute. Moreover, he is the Greenfield Professor of Securities Law at Harvard Law School.
