Expert Qualifications

This board-certified expert earned his MBBS from the Maulana Azad Medical College in India where he also completed an internship in general surgery. He then went on to complete two residencies in general surgery from the Lady Hardinge Medical College and Weill Cornell Medical Center, as well as a fellowship in minimally invasive surgery from the University of Texas Medical School. He has been published nine times and is a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons, and the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery. He was formerly an attending physician of general surgery at the University of Delhi, and a clinical instructor of general surgery at the University of Texas Medical School. This expert is currently an associate professor of surgery at a regional medical college, the medical director of bariatric surgery at a regional hospital system, and the chief of minimally invasive surgery at a college-affiliated medical center.
