Daryl is a Multidisciplinary Research Associate at the Expert Institute. Prior to joining Expert Institute, Daryl worked as a research associate for the Geena Davis Institute on Gender in Media. While completing his undergraduate degree, Daryl interned in for a variety of organizations ranging from the Los Angeles National Public Radio affiliate (KPCC) to a US Senate campaign to a non-profit legal firm where he focused on ensuring access to education for low income and high need students.

Before beginning his college career, Daryl served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years as a nuclear field electrician on board the USS Tennessee. Daryl completed his training at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command in Charleston, South Carolina.

Daryl graduated cum laude from Occidental College with a bachelor’s degree in politics and a minor in art history.
