This board certified surgeon received an MD from Ovidius University School of Medicine in Romania. He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, American Hernia Society and Association for Academic Surgery. His practice focuses on bariatric surgery, advanced laparoscopic surgery including hernia repair, and treatment of biliary tree and foregut disorders and robotics. He is well published in his field and held academic appointments at major universities. He currently practices at a major health system in New Jersey.
