This highly qualified expert oversees research on the wind resistance of asphalt shingles. He received a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering at the University of Florida. He is a member of the American Association for Wind Engineering. He has published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles on the subject of asphalt shingles including the effects of wind and other environmental factors on the material. He is currently a forensic engineering specialist. Their analysis of construction and design practice is based on Code and industry standards and they have provided over $220 million worth of repair and rehabilitation correcting deficient construction and design issues. This rehabilitation includes single family homes, high rise condominiums, etc.
