This expert has extensive experience in pulmonary, sleep, and critical care medicine. He received his BA from Middlebury College before earning his MD from Columbia University. He then also completed a medical Spanish program through the AEC Spanish Institute in Costa Rica and a clinical research education program through the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He completed an internship and residency in the department of medicine and a fellowship in the pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine division at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He spent one year of his fellowship as the chief fellow and spent an additional year in the program specializing as a sleep fellow. This expert is quadruple-board certified in internal medicine, pulmonary disease, critical care medicine, and sleep medicine. He is involved in research in the field, having authored several publications and abstracts. He has formerly served as a moonlighter in the adult day services cardiology telemetry unit and the respiratory care unit at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, as well as a hospitalist at Clutha Health First in New Zealand.
