Expert Qualifications
This quadruple board certified doctor completed his postdoctoral fellowship training in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine as well as Occupational and Environmental Medicine at Yale University School of Medicine in New Haven. He established the University of New Mexico Occupational and Environmental Lung Clinic in Albuquerque, New Mexico and is board certified in Pulmonary, Critical Care Medicine and Occupational Medicine; a B-reader certified by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH); and a teaching faculty member for the annual National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) spirometry training course held in Albuquerque. He is also a national leader in the field of Occupational Lung Disease within professional organizations like the American Thoracic Society and American College of Chest Physicians and on the advisory board of the sixth edition of the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment. He is on the teaching faculty at the respected university in New Mexico, for the Pulmonary and Critical care fellowship programs, as well as the Preventive Medicine and Internal Medicine residency program
