This qualified expert is board-certified in both plastic surgery and general surgery. She received her BS in molecular biology from UC Santa Barbara before earning her MD from the University of Southern California. She subsequently completed two residencies: one in general surgery at the University of Nevada and one in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health & Science University. She was also a research fellow in the trauma & critical care surgery and plastic surgery divisions at the University of Nevada. This expert actively participates in professional development to stay updated on the latest practices in the field. She is active in her field as a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Bariatric Plastic Surgeons, and the International Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. She is also involved in research, having authored multiple peer-reviewed articles and presented at several conferences. She formerly served as a plastic surgeon for the California Skin Institute, as well as the medical director and chief wellness officer of Illuminate Face & Body Bar.
