Expert Qualifications

This expert has been practicing nursing for nearly 40 years. A Nationally Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, she has been awarded the honor of Fellow of the American Academy of Nurses and holds membership in a multitude of distinguished nursing organizations. She is a former President of the Association of Women’s Health, Obstetrics and Neonatal Nursing as well as a former President and Vice President of the Pennsylvania State Nurses Association Board of Trustees. Extensively published in professional journals such as "Journal of Nursing Education" and "Journal of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners", she also serves as a manuscript reviewer for over 15 nursing, medical, and health publications. Currently, this expert is an Associate Professor of Maternal-Child Nursing at a major university, where she also serves as the Coordinator for both Nursing Education and the Nurse Certification Program.
