Expert Opines on Indemnity Agreements With National Pet Boarding Company

A commercial dog-boarding kennel service in Maine decided to file suit against their legal counsel after never receiving liability benefits from an indemnity agreement. The attorney had been the kennel’s representative in agreements with multiple boarding clients to protect the business from any damages caused to pets. However, the kennel owners believed that their attorney had not been properly ensuring their rights and benefits from the indemnity agreement, leaving the business open to liability. In need of a professional opinion on indemnity agreements, an expert in secured transactions was asked to expound on the circumstances of the case.
