Insurance Broker Makes False Representation of Life Insurance Policy

This case involves the trustees of their father’s estate filing suit against those responsible for the life insurance policy purchased by the estate; namely, the insurance broker himself and all entities involved as managing general agents or issuer. The plaintiffs claim that the defendant made certain representations of an indexed universal life insurance policy that were false, and therefore the actual policy does not match what the plaintiffs thought they had purchased. Plaintiffs are suing for violation of several consumer protection laws, fraud, negligent misrepresentation, negligence, and breach of contract.
