Dr. Francisco Ruiz

This experience mechanical engineer has over 30 years of experience in the field. He earned his ME and PhD in mechanical engineering from Carnegie Mellon University. The expert is active in his field as a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers and the National Collegiate Inventors and Innovators' Alliance. He has also published over 20 journals and papers, and has two patents to his name. He formerly served as an assistant professor and associate chair of mechanical and aerospace engineering in the undergraduate programs at the Illinois Institute of Technology. Currently, he is an associate professor of mechanical, materials and aerospace engineering as well as the director of the invention center at a technology institute in Illinois.
